Congratulations to St Josephs on their senior football championship beating Terenure College Friday. A good mix of Maurs and Towers players on the panel below many of whom played against each other last Sunday for their clubs in an excellent minor game which ended in a draw.The school have had numerous GAA successes the last few years at all ages and codes.Still to come this their intermediate hurlers in another final.Credit to all the hard work of the teachers at St Josephs

The club is heavily investing in equipment for the clubs continued growth and to give our players the best chance of success. This month alone we were able to purchase 30 new helmets and 40 juvenile hurls for the Academy. Your continued membership and fundraising will benefit the young players and the club in years to come. Fantastic win today for the u14 football team playing in testing conditions away v cula in thomastown.Maurs opted to play with a strong wind behind them in the first half and were camped in the cula half ,they started very well with 4 points unanswered and could have had a bigger half time lead with two goal chances.FINAL SCORE:Naomh Maur 3-11 Cula 2-9

Another week closer to the start of the Under 13 girls football League and another friendly on a bitterly cold Saturday afternoon, this time against St Finians in Swords.
